Maximize your Cummin's ability to generate dense cold air with this cast BladeRunner Intercooler, boot, and tube kit from AFE Power. Designed to put your stock intercooler and piping to shame, AFE's version is 25% larger and comes with a host of features that are hard pressed to be beat. This kit comes with 3" hot and cold side mandrel bent aluminum tubes that are wrinkle black powder coated for a great look. The 5 ply silicone couplings and stainless steel sping loaded clamps secure everything together for a leak free seal. If you've recently upgraded your cold air intake, its time to give your rig even more power with a new intercooler, make it an AFE.
End Tanks: The unique BladeRunner end tanks are constructed out of cast 356-T6 aluminum that incorporate three multi-directional vanes.
Multi Directional Vane Technology: The BladeRunner MDV technology is used to direct hot air flow through the entire intercooler core, which allows for greater cooling than competitors units.
2-1/2" Bar and Plate Core Design: The use of the bar and plate core design allows for greater airflow and increased heat dissipation over the much smaller tube and fin design used by the OEM. This intercooler also features 3-5/8" inlet/outlet connections compatible with stock intercooler tubes. This intercooler outflows OE style tube and fin core designs by 10%!
Tig Welded: 100% TIG-Welded by certified craftsmen for strength and durability. TIG-Welding provides the strongest welds while reducing stress cracks.
Pressure Tested: The BladeRunner Intercooler is test pressure rated at 100psi.
Flow and Performance: The intercooler tubes are constructed of 3" mandrel-bent aluminum tubing for maximum flow then powder-coated wrinkle-black for heat and corrosion resistance. The smooth mandrel bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGT's.
