Are you looking for a steering stabilizer for your Powerstroke, unlike anything else on the market? If so, then you need to check out the Fox ATS Stabilizer. With conventional steering stabilizers, turning in one direction creates an increase in pressure inside the stabilizer as the shaft occupies more volume in the body and displaces the oil. The repercussion is a push or pull steering force felt by the driver as the stabilizer attempts to return to its neutral state. To overcome this unidirectional force, dual opposing stabilizers are often used, but this requires additional mounting hardware and space. The Fox ATS features a "through" design in which the shaft can pass though the body and has valving to give equal pressure whether the shock is being compressed or extended. Pretty cool, right? Beyond the shock itself, this kit includes the necessary hardware to allow you to mount this dampener in place of the factory unit. You'll need to choose whether your truck is equipped with a factory Ford drag link (or one with the same design), or a Kryptonite Death Grip Drag Link so that the correct mounting hardware is included.
