If it becomes the unfortunate time for you to replace heads in your LLY, LBZ, or LMM Duramax, look no further than the PPE Cast Iron Cylinder Head. This cylinder head offers the same heat expansion rate as the OEM cast block that completely resolves the common head gasket scrubbing issue. The specialty alloyed gray cast iron liquid cooled cylinder head has elevated strength in higher temperatures with creep resistance so blown head gaskets are a thing of the past.

Each head comes complete with brand new springs, spring retainers, spring locators, valves, valve seals, valve keepers, valve seats, valve guides, rocker arm dowels, and freeze plugs. The upgraded tapered valve springs provide faster response and eliminate valve float at high rpms and the CNC machined spring retainers and locators keep them all in place. The premium 21-4N stellite reinforced exhaust valves and chrome silicon alloy intake valves are all fully nitridated with increased abrasion resistance. With a set of these heads, you will notice a reduction in engine clatter compared to factory aluminum heads. Each head comes with a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty. Sold individually.
